Graffiti Removal

Graffiti is an unsightly nuisance and the City of Yucaipa is committed to removing it as quickly as possible. The City maintains a recorded phone line for graffiti removal requests. Residents can help eliminate this blight by reporting graffiti to the City. Please call (909) 797-2489, ext. 281 and leave your name, phone number, and a detailed description of the location(s) of the graffiti or click HERE to submit an email.

Report Vandalism & Graffiti In Progress

Yucaipa is experiencing an increase in graffiti and vandalism to our beautiful trail fencing. The cost of repairing the damage and painting over the graffiti is significant. If you see graffiti or vandalism in progress, please report it immediately to Yucaipa Police Department at (909) 790-3100. Be prepared to offer a description of vandals.

How to Report a Violation:

Graffiti Abatement Program

The City is experiencing a significant increase in graffiti. This problem is region-wide and City staff is taking action to address this ongoing issue. The City’s Graffiti Abatement Program includes the following key elements:

Graffiti Removal – City staff removes graffiti six days a week.  Residents can report graffiti to the Graffiti Removal Hotline at (909) 797-2489, ext. 281.

  • Data Tracking – The City utilizes a computerized tracking system to collect graffiti data, including locations, costs, and photos. This data is used to prosecute vandals when they are apprehended.

  • Camera Monitoring – The City has instituted a pilot program to place cameras in areas where there is a high incidence of graffiti. These cameras are motion activated and tell the offender to leave the area. Evidence gathered from these cameras will be used to prosecute offenders.

  • Graffiti Busters Program – Yucaipa residents can volunteer their time to remove graffiti throughout the City. Please contact Community Services at (909) 797-2489, ext. 244 if you are interested in becoming a volunteer.
