Absentee Voting
You may apply for an absentee ballot:
Anyone may choose to vote by mail. An application for an absentee ballot is on the back of each sample ballot pamphlet. A voter may either complete this application and mail it, or write to the Registrar of Voters Office to request an absentee ballot. Each application must contain the voter's printed name, residence address, the name and date of the election for which a ballot is requested, the address where the ballot is to be mailed, and the voter's signature.
Voters may apply for an absentee ballot as early as 60 days prior to the election. Ballots are mailed to applicants beginning 29 days before each election. Applications must be received no later than 7 days before election day.
Instructions for returning voted absentee ballots appear on the ballot's return envelope. Please check this each time you vote by absentee ballot because the instructions may change, depending on the type of election that is being conducted.
For more information on absentee voting, call the Registrar of Voters Office at (909) 387-2047 or 2048.
