“Kid’s Club” School Site Programs
(Kid’s Club is a non-licensed Recreation Program)
The “Kid’s Club” Division of the Community Services Department provides before and after school recreational “drop-in” programs at each elementary school in the Yucaipa/Calimesa School District. Activities include indoor and outdoor games, crafts, homework clubs, special events and more. The before school program opens at 6:30 a.m. and runs until school begins. The after school program runs from school dismissal at 3:05 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. All program sites are located on each school campus in the multi-purpose/cafeteria areas. “Kid’s Club” is designed for students in first grade through the sixth grade. A very limited program is available for students in Kindergarten, please call the Community Center at 909/790-7460 for more details.
“Kid’s Club” Summer/Holiday Camps
Summer, Spring Break, and Winter Recess Camps are offered while schools are closed. Spring Break and Winter Recess camps are held at the Community Center (34900 Oak Glen Road). Summer Camps are held at the Community Center and at the 7th Street Park (33994 Avenue “E”). Camps are designed for students in Kindergarten through the sixth grade. Hours of operation are 6:30 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Extras
Kid’s Club also offers services on single day school holidays and extended service on minimum school days.
Registration
Pre-registration is required for all Kid’s Club programs; a completed Kid’s Club registration form must be submitted prior to program participation. To register for school holiday CAMP programs visit the Community Center between 6:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. or to register for SCHOOL SITE programs register at your child’s school in the Kid’s Club Room between 3:00 and 6:00 p.m.
