Code Enforcement

The Code Enforcement Division is responsible for enforcing state and local laws relating to health and safety, property maintenance standards and land use regulations. The Division seeks to correct violations of the Municipal Code as it applies to the public's health, safety and general welfare.  Major programs include:

  • Building, Land Use, and Animal Raising Violations

  • Enforcement of the Mobilehome Parks Act and the Special Occupancy Parks Act of the California Health and Safety Code and Title 25, Chapters2 and 2.2, of the California Code of Regulations

  • Enforcement of the Solid Waste Ordinance

  • Public Nuisance and Abandoned Vehicle Abatement
