Neighborhood Stabilization Program Information

If you’re a first-time homebuyer of a foreclosed home, you may qualify for down payment or mortgage assistance through the Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP).

The City has partnered with San Bernardino County Community Development and Housing Department to assist with providing homebuyers the information and steps they need to apply for NSP funds.

Because the Federal Government is intending the NSP funds to help communities recover from a high rate of home foreclosures, only the areas with higher foreclosure rates are eligible for NSP assistance. Therefore, based on the map below, those foreclosed houses located within the Target Area would be considered eligible.
