Business Licensing

  • Submit Business License and Fee to the City

  • Review by the Planning Department for compatibility with land use regulations (7days)

  • Issuance of Business License (3 days) (1 0 days total)

Land Use Compliance Review Process

  • Submit Application and Fee to the City

  • Review by the Planning Department to determine if the Application is complete (up to 30 days)

  • Analysis of completed application by City Staff (15-30 days)

  • Final Approval (45 - 60 days)

Planning Use Permit

  • Submit Application and Fee to the City

  • Review by the Planning Department to determine if the Application is complete (up to 30 days)

  • Notification of the Public and Staff Analysis (30-45 days)

  • Presentation of the Analysis to the Planning Commission (15 days)

  • Final Approval (75 - 90 days)

Conditional Use Permit

  • Submit Application and Fee to the City

  • Review by the Planning Department to determine if the Application is complete (up to 30 days)

  • Environmental Review /CEQA
    (1 - 7 days if the project causes no environmental impacts)
    (14 days if there are impacts which can be mitigated)
    (60 - 90 days if an EIR is required)

  • Notification of the Public and Staff Analysis (30 days)

  • Presentation of the Analysis to the Planning Commission (15 days)

  • Approval (75 - 90 days if an EIR is not required)
