Companies receive a unique variety of business services and assistance through the City's Economic Development staff. The City seeks to actively assist companies with their business needs which range from providing tools for business growth to site selection.

Business Support Services
Economic Development Department staff offers business support services to businesses.
Site Selection Assistance
Customized site-selection packages, including information on property ownership, utility services, and demographics are created to assist qualified businesses in finding the right location. Ombudsman Services
Economic Development staff offers many ombudsman services to businesses and developers. These services include but are not limited to:
Assembling discovery meetings with relevant staff from the City and other agencies to support businesses or developers in their due diligence site/development research.
Assisting businesses or developers navigate the development process.
Troubleshooting planning or entitlement issues for businesses and developers.
The Economic Development staff is here to assist new business and developers by serving as a project partner during all phases of due diligence, development, and/or tenant improvements for existing facilities. We provide overall ombudsman service including site selection assistance, community information and demographics and project tracking during the planning/entitlement process. Development Service Center
The City’s Development Services staff work together to offer a one-stop service counter for many project plan reviews, permits, clearances, and approvals. Development projects and tenant improvements are processed easily and conveniently in one location at City Hall. City staff is available to provide direction and answer questions to assist new businesses and applications to expedite their projects and obtain the proper permits and licenses.
